Practice Manager
The Practice Manager develops staff members ready to enter into a Supervisor/Mentor role and/or a unit invoicing in excess of $1,000,000.00 in annual cash volume. This position requires the responsibility of P/L staff management as well as sales/marketing management. The Project Manager may or may not maintain a client base dependant on the size and structure of the Practice Unit.
The Practice Manager position is very similar to the Supervisor/Mentor function and job responsibilities description; however, the level of authority, size of staff and scope of activities is much greater.
The Practice Manager is responsible for creating and maintaining an atmosphere conducive to the growth of their Supervisor/Mentors into Practice Managers and/or Mgr, Client Project Services.
The Practice Manager is required to maintain clear and open communication with their staff. Each staff member must be kept fully aware of their job requirements, expectations and progress.
The Practice Manager is expected to keep fully informed as to events affecting their marketplace and the search industry. They must keep the organization advised as to factors that affect staff retention, staff compensation, corporate competitiveness and new business opportunities and threats.
The Practice Manager is responsible, within corporate parameters, for the negotiation and authorization of client pricing structures.
The Practice Manager is expected to make and implement informed decisions.
