manufacturing corporation located in the Madison, Wisconsin area
seeks a forward thinking Controller. The merit components of this
opportunity shine through in that you will step outside the box
and initiate change where needed to revamp, revise and improve
processes and maintain effective financial control systems and
procedures. Lead and direct daily activity in accounting, financial
reporting, budgeting, external audit coordination, forecasts, and
P&L while managing and developing an accounting team. Your involvement will be
key in ensuring compliance with Sarbanes Oxley. This Controller
role offers challenge and an opportunity to have an immediate and
significant impact on the company's future. Bachelor's degree in
Finance or Accounting required. Recent-relevant experience as a
Controller in a manufacturing-plant environment also required.
CPA preferred. SOX compliance experience required. Local area candidates
preferred but will consider relocation.
