One of the nations leading hospitals in the area is seeking a strong Manager of Decision Support to become a truly influential business partner. This role manages the Decision Support team in the areas of decision support, reporting, and all other systems. The ultimate goal will be managing the strategically aligned decision support function by providing member organizations with appropriate information needed for timely decision making. This individual must posses the ability to build a strong team as well as support ongoing learning and skill development for such staff. The manager will be relied upon for coaching and mentoring while constantly promoting professional progression within team.


Responsibilities:
• Assumes supervisory responsibility over Decision Support Analysts.
• Makes effective hiring decisions; completes orientation process for new employees.
• Responsible for continuous quality improvement as well as managing the finance strategic systems plan.
• Supports company strategy, vision, and plans, while identifying opportunities for new business growth and development or expansion of current services.
• Stays informed of current and emerging issues and trends for areas of accountability within the healthcare industry.
• Communicates and educates staff on requirements, changes, advances, opportunities, directions and projections for the future.
• Leads project manager in system selection, development and pre/post-implementation as it relates to financial data repository.
• Responsible for the integrity of the data warehouse which includes implementation of development and documentation of policies and procedures, internal controls and integrity testing.
• Develops web-enabled performance-based reports within the Decision Support System.
• Manages the financial planning, organization-wide.


Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, IS or related field.
• CPA, MBA, or M.S. in Health Systems Management preferred.
• 9+ years experience, with at least 4 being in heath care.
• 3+ years prior management experience in health care
