Position Overview
This is a Bakery Manager role for an Award Winning
Bread Manufacturing Company that is experiencing
growth because of exceptional market presence and product reputation.
Essential Job Functions:
• Leads team of supervisors – Schedules them and communicates
their duties while Manager is off
• Directs staff to mix and bake according to order
amounts
• Ensures all products are made properly
• Calculates daily bread production amounts
• Enforces sanitation standards to ensure products
are safe from biological and physical hazards.
• Assist in developing new methods, procedures, and
systems in production management and staff management that improve
efficiency and performance.
• Monitor and control food and labor costs and wasted
amounts (over-bake)
• Oversee new product implementation
• Interview candidates for positions.
• Strong attention to detail for all recipes and procedures
• Interacts with other department managers
• Other duties will be assigned when help to other
areas of the bakery is needed
Requirements:
• Bi-lingual: Verbal skills in English/Spanish are
preferred. Written skills in English are required; Spanish a
plus.
• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in production
or manufacturing environments with experience in baking.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing techniques
• Food Service Sanitation License
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• This is a 50+ hours a week, salaried position
