Our client is looking for a hard working Product & Process Engineer to be responsible for technical Feasibility in eRFQ2 to include:

• Costing based on best practice.
• Specification of purchased parts, services and subcomponents.
• Complete customer technical proposals together with Design Department.
• Determine key cost drivers for main products.
• Determine capital requirements.
• Prepare quotes for plant and management reviews.
• Monitor plant product portfolio for engineering trends and improved practice.

The desired candidate wil refine product and process standards in order to meet customer requirements and verify that product, tooling, and process design will meet all needed requirements. They will develop first sample planning together with the Plant Engineering team. They will also process new product change management approval. The candidate will maintain status reports and prepare them for management reviews. Other duties include:

• Drive & discuss programs with customers in coordination with Key Account Managers.
• Review and analyze development engineering data, with a goal to improve product value.
• Develop and maintain technical presentations.
• Head projects to maintain technical leadership and growth.
• Interface closely with Advanced Engineering and Sales.
• Initiate and execute product reviews at customers together with Key Account Managers.
• Travel up to 50% or more, at times.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• BS Engineering or Metallurgy or equal in experience.
• 5 years of powder metallurgy experience.
