Our client is looking for an excellent Process Engineer to oversee all processing and processing parameters involved with new samples, work with manufacturing to diagnose production problems, and support engineering functions assigned by the engineering manager.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

• Responsible for technical Feasibility in eRFQ2 to include:

• Costing based on best practice.
• Specification of purchased parts, services and subcomponents
• Complete customer technical proposals together with Design Department
• Determine key cost drivers for main products
• Determine capital requirements
• Prepare quotes for plant and management reviews
• Monitor plant product portfolio for engineering trends and improved practice

• Follow all TS 16949 Procedures and Work Instructions relevant to work area.
• Study customer specs, engineering blueprints, and confer with design, manufacturing and quality departments to determine processing parameters.
• Oversee first run of new samples on the production floor. Develop original process specifications and approve revisions. Develop process flow, control plan and PFMEA.
• Investigate and implement corrective actions involving process related problems.
• Develop, review and approve revisions to tool designs, processing parameters and operational sequences.
• Communicate with suppliers and customers, including travel to their sites.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have an Associate’s degree from two-year or technical school or one year of equivalent/relevant experience.
