Recruiter
The position of Recruiter is the entry-level position into the professional level staff of the OSG Global organization.
The focus of this position is to support the efforts of Account Executives, Sr. Account Executives and Project Managers in the successful completion of the search assignments conducted on behalf of the client (s).
This position involves identifying, sourcing, interviewing and evaluating of potential candidates that fit the practice areas of the OSG-Global. It further involves the establishment of ongoing business relationships with these candidates. Other functions include identifying potential new client companies and the marketing of client opportunities to candidates as well marketing candidates to client companies. This work entails direct phone contact, utilization of computers and the Internet as well as searching internal company databases and other appropriate sources of information and leads. It is the responsibility of the Recruiter to develop candidate confidence and serve as that candidate's representative within the OSG organization. Further, the Recruiter is expected to develop a referral business.
The Recruiter may, from time to time, be assigned research projects, e-commerce development and marketing functions or other support functions related to business development.
Recruiters work closely with Account Executives and Management to accomplish solving client staffing problems. They function as part of a team.
Functions/Responsibilities

- 3. Identify potential candidates and gather names
- 4. Conduct candidate interviews
- 5. Arrange for qualified candidates to talk with Senior Staff
- 6. Conduct basic reference checks
- 7. Develop new client leads
- 8. Attend all assigned training/education programs
- 9. Read assigned material
- 10. Participate in training discussions
- 11. Keep Supervisor informed of all concerns
- 12. Self education
- 13. Learn and effectively utilize our integrated S/W System
- 14. Read and comply with all corporate policies
- 15. Professional appearance and conduct
There is extensive orientation, education and training regarding the functions of the position, the industry within which the Recruiter practices, interpersonal skills, interviewing and evaluation, sales practices and relationship building. The position is one of continually escalating responsibility and business involvement.
