Gather names of potential candidates and candidate leads from a variety of sources. We also call associations, universities, access the Internet and trade publications to research and target potential candidates.
Contact all potential prospects (this can involve hundreds of calls). A project team member does preliminary interviews of these prospects. If identified as a potential fit, a senior account manager then qualifies client to candidate needs and conducts further interview of these prospects.
Qualify candidate regarding compensation, ensure client's compensation expectations match those of the candidate. Determine candidate's real willingness to move both position and locale, arrange real estate information, Realtor and moving connections. Prepare to cover the cost-of-living comparisons including income tax, crime rate, education, weather, population, and other standard-of-living issues. Make these available to candidate or client as required.
Discuss candidate with client, prepare and present significant paperwork to client. Arrange interviewing schedules. Coordinate with client and candidate all details necessary to facilitate interviews.
Complete follow-up with the candidate after the interview. Fully discuss the candidate's response and reaction to the position and the client. Resolve candidate concerns. Represent the interests of the client, communicate client's needs and the position to candidate. Discuss and sell.

Continue this process with candidate and client in arranging subsequent phone and in-person interviews.
Assist client in preparing offers that will be accepted. This means having candid discussions with both candidate and client to determine realistic salary expectations.
Complete and submit a detailed reference check of at least three workplace references. For an additional cost, MRI can provide verification of degrees and licenses, criminal background checks, credit and drug screening.
Arrange acceptance by candidate. Set start date. Assist candidate in writing resignation letter and preparing for counter-offers. Assist in making relocation arrangements.
Guide candidate through post-acceptance and counter-offer phase.
Follow through with resignation and relocation. Solve last minute situations.
